ok, so its been a long time, so i wanted to fill people in on whats been happening. europe was great. saw way too much in the few days in each place, and took several hundred pictures (litterally, i htink i took around 700 pics). i am now back down in irvine for the summer, working all day everyday with my cute kids. we had some move to the next class up in june, but the new ones we got are awsome. my laptop broke, yet again. same problem too, power! twice in under a year. advice... DO NOT buy a toshiba laptop, mine sucks ass. i got a call yesterday saying it was done and i could pick it up. hopefully tomorrow i can get over there after work before 5 to get it. school is being stupid and not letting me register until i do some assessment,even though i keep telling them i have already done it. so today after work i get to go over there and bitch at them with my monterey transcript saying i dont have time during the day to come in and talk to them. as of this coming weekend, i will be scuba certified!!!!!!! after much time (not, really. only 2 weeks with this class) and tons of money (that part is true) i am finally going to be certified to go scuba diving down to as deep as 60 ft. below the surface, anywhere in the world. i think that is all i have to say. things are ok here. |

ok, so a few weeks ago, my mom and my sis visited. we went out to laguna beach, and i was playing some with the macro function of my digicam. this is what i got. shortly, i will be getting a new digicam, so hopefully it will have nice pics come from it.

so the other night... fri night, ana, christi and i went bowling. yes, we are likin the cosmic bowling. i actually did very well. 98 my first game, and 125 the second game. my mom and sis are visiting for the weekend. we went shopping today, but i just wasnt feeling it. i think tomorrow night if it doesnt rain we are going to do an evening at disneyland. just wanted to post some new pics from our bowling adventures.

ok, so now i have both LJ and xanga. i orignally got xanga just to post comments on my friends things, but then i felt bad not having my own thang goin. i will still use lj, and do my atleast once daily checks of my friends lj pages, but xanga actually has a more user friendly setup, especially for pics.

that is right. it is january 19, and it is 84 degrees outside. i went to the beach earlier. that was lovely. went to a jupiter sunrise concert on friday, and we had a party on saturday. um... not much else going on. i bought an adorable skirt at guess. its blue with polka dots. i have 2 interviews for jobs. one today at 3 for a day care place that is a meet and greet/group interview. then next wednesday i have one at the synagogue preschool up the street.
oh! it snowed in the hills. thats right, snow on the hills, and 84 degrees outside. this i took from the car on the way back from the beach today

i just saw farenheit 9/11, and i needed to vent about how agrivated i am. bush is an idiot. i already thought that, but its been proven to me. its like he doesnt even have any bit of thought into the people, but its all about money. it made me realize how the troops are just guinea pigs to him. these people are loved by others, and bush takes them by the thousands to just get killed, hurting so many more. what struck me most was towards the end when they were trying to get congress people to enlist their own children for the military, and none would. if bush's kids were boys, i am almost certain, there would never be a draft.
they said that one member of congress has a child in iraq. who is that? waht are their feelings towards all this? |

ok, so a short story for whomever reads this...
3 nights ago i was chillin at mikeys with him and dirk (a common occurance). it was too bright with lights, and too dark w/o them, so mikey gets the idea to block part of the night with a towel. he thougth it was a good idea. i said that i didnt think it was safe.
last night, the towel was still there. at about 1130 or so, i thought i smelt burning, but thought nothing of it cause my nose sometimes is off. well, right around midnight, i hear a pop, and FLAMES! only small ones, but still fire. dirk and i notice, he gets water and we put it out. i got mikeys attention too. well.. mikey didnt notice anything because his computer was still up and running. but i guess it caused a power surge throughout the apartment, doing something to the computer brandon was working on.
so now, the lap is broken, nothing else caught fire, the towel is burnt, but all else is good.
i go home on thursday for winter break. im not sure if thats good or bad. im looking forward to the food, and being spoiled, and i guess seeing a few people, but thats all. im going now. |

so, its been a while i know, and im sorry. lets see.... i got a laptop. thats pretty cool. so ive basically been living on our couch. also, bc my desktop desided to have a fan die on me, but luckily i got that fixed yesterday, along with an upgrade to a nice alien green glow inside my case.
other news.... mikey and i broke up. its been like 2.5 weeks. i miss him like crazy, but we still see eachother and talk which is nice, but hard as hell on me. i have no clue if this will be the final break up, or we will get thru our issues and get back together.
i also have basically given up on school. i stopped going. have no modivation and no want to be there. hopefully ill figure things out by next semester and do something (either school, job, or who knows what else).
i think thats about it... i will try to post some more pics soon. |

the last few days its been on and off raining. it poured like crazy for a little while last night, it was great. i love the rain. since it was overcast the other day, christi and i desided to go to the beach. we walked along the pier and the sand. i wish i was closer than like 10 min away from the beach. yes, im spoiled, i know.

yes, i have been down in socal for about 3.5 weeks now and things are going good. school is alot of work (didnt realize how easy monterey was till i went somewhere else)but i actually feel like i'm learning something. i havent been to the beach yet, but hopefully i will do that once christi gets down. i have now met all my roommates who all seem very nice. i really want to go down to san diego for trapeze, so hopefully i can do that next weekend. i have pics of my apartment that hopefully i will figure out how to post and have them up here.

so after years (litterally) of begging and pleeding with my mom, we got cable internet at home a few weeks ago. so my mom wanted to go wireless so we wouldnt have big wires all over the house. so i get a new network card, we have to get her computer a network card, and then get a wireless card for the laptop. first try, only the laptop would connect, the drivers for the 2 other network cards dont work. try 2- we get a wired network card for my parents computer works fine, and get a diff brand wireless card for mine, still doesnt work. try 3- get a usb wirless connection for me. YAY! now it works, but sure sucked getting here. nothing else really going on with me. strangely going to bed at ungoldly early times (like 11 almost every night). seeing mikey some, and had a nice day with christi on thurs. still scared shitless to move down south. um... i think thats about all for now. hope everyone is having a good summer. |

so me being the stupid one i am, cheat one mikey, my oh so wonderful one of so long, way back in march. well, i don t tell him till this weekend. he flips (as expected) and now i feel horible (even more so than before i told him) and cant sleep well and thtat is why i am up at 630 on a monday when class isnt till 10.
what else is new....
so i went to see mikey this weekend. flew down for a 2 day thing, and it turned out to be my worst trip yet. i got to breefly see christi which is always nice.
only 2 weeks left of school. but that also means only 2 weeks left for photo projects and a paper i have to do a killer job on. starting the paper today. might do some photo today too if im not hungry and want to after class.
not much else going on here. just that i want out.and to feel better. my meds are semi working most of the time. but i dotn like this middle ground. i want to feel my ups, but i just cant. oh well, the life of mood stablizers. doubt ill get any readers. please post. i enjoy getting comments, but it seems like i get one per every 3 or so entries and its nto like im a frequent poster. |

it has been forever since a real update, so i thought i would do one in the 10 min. till i have to leave.
i cant stand it here at monterey. it gets worse every day, and my depression is getting worse too. i have basically gotten the okay to move down with christi in the fall so im happy about that because mikey will be liike 3 miles away rather than the like 400 now. i really want to do that, but im a little hesitant to basically move down almost all to be close to mikey.
i have a new therapist that i actually like. she is on campus, so that is one thing i will lose if i leave. but there is not much keeping me here. i also have a new shrink down here, but i have only seen him once so far this past wed.
i have been tryign to keep myself busy on weekends. val. weekend mikey came up, last weekend randi and chris came to see me, this weekend anni karle is coming, and the weekend after my parents are.
i just want out. i feel so isolated and stuck here!
also, my photography class has really caught my attention. its really fun and is becoming a new hobbie of mine. ok, so i know i cant spell, but tahts ok.
ok, im outa here. please comment. i love getting comments, but only good ones and not "im commenting bc you told me to."
hopefully life will get better. until then, there is always music to keep me going. |
